More awards for Tumble Dryer!
Just think about it. You've worked hard for over a year to write a book. You've gone over it multiple times with a fine-tooth comb. Finally, you send it off to group of people you have never seen or spoken to. Their job is to evaluate the quality of your book, and decide if it is better than any others in the category you selected. I can tell you from first-hand experience, that is scary. There are many excellent authors out there in the world. My uncertain self says, "You can't beat them!" But then one day, you receive an award. It's for 3rd place, but it is an award. That's encouraging. Then a month or so later, you get another award, and this time, it's a WINNER! That feels GREAT! After a couple of months, here comes yet another award - and it, too, is a WINNER. Now I can really call myself an AWARD-WINNING AUTHOR.
